Dr. Aaron Bennett is a Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition fellow at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). He grew up on Long Island, New York, and graduated from Brandeis University with a degree in Biology and Health: Science, Society, and Policy. He earned his medical degree at Temple University and went on to complete his Pediatrics residency at Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital. He spent an extra year at Yale serving as Chief Resident, where his interest in quality improvement, pathway creation, and healthcare leadership was cultivated. His academic interests lie in pediatric liver transplant outcomes and understanding systematic and non-clinical barriers to health care delivery.
