In addition to overseeing the continual refinement of the Nursing & Healthcare Administration and Health Leadership curricula, Dr. Keim teaches several graduate courses: Systems Thinking in Patient Safety (NURS650), Nursing Administration Practicum (NURS655), and Advanced Roles in Administrative Nursing Practice (NURS699).
Description of Research Expertise
Dr. Keim’s research centers on factors associated with early, post-discharge acute healthcare utilization e.g., readmissions, emergency department/short observational stays for older adults, and primary care delivery systems to mitigate these risks.
